Our Campaign’s Top Issues

There are many Issues and struggles facing everyday Ohioans. Not all of them can be fixed at the state level, but the state legislature can absolutely make laws and changes the improve the situation. Here are just a few of the issues that I plan on fixing while in office.

  • NO Data Centers

  • School Vouchers

  • Fully Funding Schools

NO Data Centers

Data Centers are extremely unpopular for a reason. They are doing backroom deals to get the approval, and don't do a whole lot for the local population. They take massive amounts of water and electricity, provide ample construction jobs but only around 25 permanent positions. They then use those data centers for AI to steal more jobs. School Vouchers

School Vouchers need to go, as does public schools having to provide transportation for private school students. "School choice!" It sounds so good doesn't it? Until you look into the program deeper. Public schools are having to rely more and more on local taxes to stay afloat, this is causing people to risk their homes if they can't afford the property taxes. (Click View More)

Fully Funding Schools

Currently our schools are relying heavily on local income taxes, and property taxes to get their funding. That is entirely unconstitutional as ruled by the Ohio Supreme Court in 1997. Public schools are supposed to be funded by the state in order to ensure that outcomes of students are similar no matter your location or background. (Click View More)
